A Ukrainian design studio has conceptualized “Plan B,” an innovative autonomous underground living space designed to offer safety and luxury in an unpredictable world. The Design and Structure of Plan B
From the surface, Plan B presents a minimalist, modern aesthetic, resembling a contemporary art museum entrance or a discreet military installation. This above-ground structure occupies just 172 square meters and can be integrated into various landscapes, from dense forests to existing urban environments.

Accessibility is a key feature, with three distinct entrances and a rooftop helipad. An integrated fire-resistant evacuation ring provides a secure escape route from virtually any point within the bunker, prioritizing inhabitant safety.

Chief engineer Olha Sobchyshyna underlined the project’s core philosophy, stating, “Security comes first. My priority was ensuring comfortable sleep, temperature, quality food, water, and air.
